School of Materials Science and Engineering

The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) currently has 100+ full-time faculty members, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and one member of the Engineering Academy of Japan, and  35% of faculty hold full professorship as doctoral supervisors. The faculty has extensive and advanced overseas education experience/working with professional titles, representing the school with a roust MSE discipline. The School of MSE consists of the Department of Polymer Materials and the Department of Materials Engineering, providing effective educational and research training programs for bachelor, master, and doctoral degree levels. The MSE discipline has been accredited as the National First-Class Undergraduate Discipline by the Engineering Education Certification of the Ministry of Education and has been listed as one of Zhejiang Province Higher Education Top-Key Disciplines. The School of MSE now has been entitled to offer the first-level Master of Science, Master of Materials Engineering, and doctoral degrees in MSE.
